I have always had an adventurous spirit and love for the great outdoors. This in part lead me to serve in the military, a patriotic experience that rapidly taught me many life lessons. After enough years traveling the world and being away from family, I moved to Hawaii in an effort to find my next direction and be surrounded by loved ones. It was at that time I became a PADI-certified scuba instructor and began teaching dive courses while attending STEM courses at the local community college. Once my sights were set, I got accepted into an engineering program at the University of Colorado Boulder and earned a degree in Technology, Arts, and Media.
I'm excited about my transition into the tech world to follow my passion working with emerging technologies. Whether it's product development, user experience or writing programs, I appreciate a good challenge and always looking to find the best possible solutions to the problem.
When not working on projects, I've been known to spend time with friends and family, go snowboarding, surfing (when near an ocean), hiking, BBQing, or seeking adventure through exotic travel.
